We are a block away from Rye House train station which leads to Liverpool Street and there are nearby bus stops situated on Rye Road.
It is a short walk to Hoddesdon Town Centre which comprises of a great range of shops, restaurants and pubs.
Every room is always cleaned daily and thoroughly changed weekly. Most rooms are quite large with a good window view, they all have colour TVs, fridge/freezers, wash basins, kettles, tea trays, cutlery and crockery. All rooms have an internet connection but you must ask the manager first for the Ethernet connection wire and internet fees.
There are toilets on each of the three floors and shower cubicles on the top floor. You may choose to have a continental breakfast which is added to the price. The kitchen is on the second floor, it has 3 microwave ovens, a big fridge/freezer and an electric cooker with four hobs. There is a sitting area adjacent to the kitchen with benches and tables. Outside there is space to park your vehicles on the street corner.
Lea House has many close by attractions. There is the famous Rye House Gatehouse where the failed but scandalous 'Rye House Plot' took place, it is opposite Rye House train station and is a good tourist attraction. Visit the Rye House Speedway for outdoor go-kart racing not far from the Gatehouse, they offer races for kids (age 4-7), juniors (age 8-15) and adults (age 16&).
Adjacent to the speedway is Rye House Stadium where greyhound races take place, a great place to watch racing and a possibility of winning a bet too.
